A little about Kemi Santos-Omanukwue.
My name, Oluwakemi means 'God's pet'. I can write a book on how true that is.
I am the daughter of Late Olubunmi Peter Amancio Santos and Maudlyn Ikeotuonye Santos. I was born on the beautiful island of Lagos, Lagos City, Nigeria.
Happily married to a wonderful man and we are blessed with two sons (for now).
I'm a Lawyer (Member of the Nigerian Bar Association) and a Certified Paralegal (Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada). Presently, I live in Canada.
Of the many things I love to do, reading, swimming and writing top the list. I think of doing any two of these things everyday. I started writing in High School, which some consider to be a late start (not me). I stopped because someone I looked up to criticized the art of writing 'as an unserious passion'. Those words stuck and the dream died... or so I thought. When I achieved all I wanted to academically, the dream resurrected.
When it's time... it's time.
Fifteen years later, I named my book WEEPING CHERRY, the first of its saga. It is my first published book but not my only book.
